Tom Bostock
Director
I am a theatre maker and director specialising in devised work, often working in site specific and site responsive settings. I am interested in the human condition and our experience of the world around us, with a particular interest exploring the role of the spectator and the theatre environment in relation to how we encounter and experience the liveness of the art form.
I am co-artisitc director of Gruff Theatre, an experimental, collaborative ensemble making devised, imaginative & immersive work in alternative (and often unexpected) theatre environments since 2013. Gruff has worked with New Diorama, Serpentine Galleries, The Vaults, The Space, NT Studios, Balfron Tower, The Old Operating Theatre, Nunhead Cemetery, Louise Mari, RIFT & Arbonauts.
