Alice Chambers

Director London

Her/ She.

Born and raised in Chester, I am currently on the MFA Theatre Directing course at Birkbeck. I studied my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Durham. At university, I co-ran a fringe-style theatre company and we produced such work as Simon Stephens' 'Seawall' and Jack Thorne's 'Stacy'. I am predominantly interested in new writing. I just want to feel it in the gut! I am excited, through studying this course, to hone what I think and feel about theatre.

I also run a theatre reviewing instagram, called Theatre Reviews UK, in which I review theatre in all venues across London. I am a reader for the Finborough Theatre.
