Chris Moran

Director Writer Dramaturg

I'm a director and writer based in Ireland. My practice uses historical or achival research to retell forgotten stories, especially queer stories. I also support emerging writers as dramaturg.

I am a TRANSFORM Associate Artist at the Mermaid Arts Centre, Co. Wicklow. My work has been supported by the Irish Arts Council, Wicklow Co. Arts Office, and the Theatre de la Ville de Luxembourg.

Since 2015 I've created theatre-in-education shows for kids of all ages in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Ireland, with traditional music and accompanying workshops.
