Anna Berentzen

Director Greater Manchester

She/Her. I am a director from Manchester interested in work that reaches out to new and old audiences and gets them desperate to hear more. I trained as an actor and I believe very much in working with a language that is useful and tangible to all the artists in the room. My favourite work is intrinsically human, hopeful, and surprising. Music and voice is a huge part of my practice and I am always very keen to collaborate, particularly across art forms. I want to tell stories that matter and will change the world. Talk to me about equity, inclusivity, and saving the planet. I am currently studying British Sign Language.
