Sophie Drake

Director Dramaturg

Sophie Drake is a theatre director and dramaturg based in London. ​She has worked on large scale shows in the West End and at multiple venues around the UK.

She is the Resident Director for Broken Silence Theatre Company, where she co-leads the Playwrights Hive, runs a Script Report Service and directs work the company produces.

Sophie trained at the University of Leeds and received training under Michael Grandage on his West End production of Red starring Alfred Molina and Alfred Enoch. She has worked as a freelance practitioner for Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
