Anna Himali Howard

Director London

I am a London-based director and theatremaker from Birmingham. I graduated from the University of Warwick and am an alumnus of the REP Foundry. In 2016, I was the Paines Plough Trainee Director. I am also a scriptreader and was recently Senior Reader at the Royal Court. I am interested in making work in a variety of genres - old writing, new writing, devised work, and opera amongst others. I tend to be interested in work which feels like austerity and melancholy, and looks at capitalism and colonialism.
