Director Facilitator Actor

Manny is a storyteller/ trainee director who was part of the Intro to directing Cohort2019, Fresh Direction 2020 & Springboard 2021. They have Co-directed their first show 'The Coasters' by CJ Webley at The Jack Studios Theatre & Assisted/ Stage managed 'Sticks & Stones' at Tristan Bates Theatre. Also a freelance facilitator who has worked extensively with the Old Vic's Artist & Education team since 2018. Currently working as a supervisor in retail but is hungry to expand in his artistry, learn & understand the language of the industry so one day they can live, breathe & pass on the baton to the next gen aswell as helping improve the sector.

Bringing Sci-fi & Fantasy to the stage is something they plan to streamline into their work, so they are interested in exploring VR/AI.

Help create spaces for young 'Black' beings to unapologetically be themselves, explore the art form, thrive & get paid.

Drawn to Absurd & Epic theatre but want to expand my knowledge & understanding.
Mask work is something I am heavily interested in.

Question, challenge & explore narratives & themes surrounding identity, displacement, intimacy, race, isolation, power, sexuality, health/ relationships in all its forms through conversation & collaboration.
