Louis Catliff

Director

He/Him pronoun

I am a passionate writer and director focused on creating community-based work that is ambitious in both topic and design.

While studying in Scotland I combined my love of theatre and filmmaking creating a number of multimedia productions. The last of which was a production of Nina Raines' Tribes which won awards for best show, set, tech and marketing from the university's arts funding body.

Since then I have written and directed at theatres across the UK; The Southwark Playhouse, Pleasance Islington, Theatre503, Canal Café and the Drayton Arms in London. Working as part of award-winning zero waste pop-up venue, The Greenhouse I recently wrote and directed an original musical at the Edinburgh fringe which was Shortlisted for a Scottish Arts Award.

I am now based back in London and looking to lend my skillset to an exciting new project.
