I am a Scottish/ German theatre-maker and director recently returned to the UK after living in Ireland and Berlin.
Having just completed an MA in Theatre Practice and Production, I have a robust practical understanding of Directing and Theatre Making.
With a background and grounding in devised theatre, I am interested in work that pushes the boundaries in its creation.
My directing style very much values the creative capacity of everyone in the room. I believe a strong performance is born from a robust, supportive and bonded ensemble. My work is intuitive, thorough, and no other job ignites my joy quite like being trusted in bringing text, or indeed devised work to life on stage. I bring energy and passion to every piece of work and have directed several successful one-act plays this year.
I am interested and open in any type of project to further my learning and experience.
