Keeley Lane

I am a Theatre/ Screen Director, Dramaturg and Creative Facilitator with a passion for storytelling, new writing and creating theatrical experiences that can stretch beyond the traditional stage.

I am particularly passionate about making work in the regions and Im interested in local stories with a universal message. My enthusiasm lies with stories with female protagonists or where women have a key role in the story. As Co-Artistic Director for Buglight Theatre I lead the artistic vision of the company to seek new narratives and collaborate with exciting artists to create theatre which is bold in form and which finds ways to engage audiences as active participants. I have experience directing scripted work for screen and also work in factual television as a story producer.
