Laura Honeybun

I am a growing artist and designer who is from South Wales where there are beautiful landscapes which capture the nature and memories as I have been brought up with it. It is lovely to come to London to see the differences to the countryside and the city surroundings and how the everyday life is impacted by these surroundings.

I am currently doing a Ma Scenography course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I currently would say am an artist who likes to draw and create sketches and creates installations which looks at the performance within the space especially in dance performance. In my degree I was very fascinated with Futurists and Dadaists who capture every detail and record every single movement to create a dance performance.

Recently I have been very interested in how our bodies impact the performance space. How everyday objects within the performance space creates a narrative and impact a memory with the audience to feel connected towards the piece.
