Caitriona Shoobridge

Theatre Director Audio Director Production Dramaturg Film Director

I am a theatre, audio and film director based in Burnley interested in making work that engages with issues of social injustice. For me, this could include; new writing, redeveloped classics and multidisciplinary work. I am very interested in collaborating with artists in other disciplines and in co-producing across different sectors. I'm motivated to use my practice to explore the relationship between installation, audience and live performance and in thinking about how experimenting with scale and different forms can broaden the reach of story-makers.
