Grace Currie

I am a female (she/her) director and stage manager, with a special interest in musical theatre (old and new), fantasy theatre, innovative sound design and dark comedies. I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2018, where I obtained a first class honours degree in English Literature and Drama. During my final year of study, I was selected for a prestigious placement with the stage management team at the Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, which saw me gain valuable experience working in a large scale professional theatre. Since then, I have continued to work on shows across the country, spanning a variety of styles and genres. I am hugely influenced by the collaborative and exciting approach of Sally Cookson, having written my undergraduate degree on her adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
