Jonathan Bensusan Bash

Director

I am a director, writer and sound designer interested in contemporary work that is relatable and challenging. Before I was a director I did a degree in Physics and was a religious studies teacher. As such, science and religion influence my work a lot, both in the content and influencing my approach to work. I found my love of theatre through creating interactive and exciting religious and educational experiences for summer camps.

I enjoy making work that feels real but is presented in surprising and interesting ways. My work often incorporates physical theatre, non-naturalistic use of sound and music as well as audience interaction.
