Francesca Goodridge

Francesca is a Welsh director, born in Swansea and now living in North Wales. She is the first recipient of The Carne 18-month Traineeship for Directors in Wales, and now the Trainee Director at Theatr Clwyd. This unique role allows her to assist on all Theatr Clwyd productions, work with Tamara Harvey and other departments within the building to have Artistic Director training, and put on her own full length production at Theatr Clwyd at the end of her traineeship.
Prior to this she was the Trainee Director at The Other Room Theatre in Cardiff to Kate Wasserberg.

She has recently been awarded Arts Council of Wales funding to begin work on a new musical she is developing.

She is interested in developing new work and new writing, especially work that can incorporate live music and actor musicians.
