Camila Ymay González

Director

I'm a Chilean London-based Theatre Director and Translator with over 10 years’ experience working in Chile and the UK. Co-Founder of the UK-based theatre company 11:18 (2010-2013). Currently a member of the Out of the Wings Collective which focuses on the translation and promotion of drama from the Spanish-speaking world in the UK. My work has been presented in recognised international festivals such as SPILL, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival and Festival Internacional Santiago a Mil (Chile). As a theatre translator, I have translate into Spanish the work of world-recognised British playwrights such as Caryl Churchill and Chris Thorpe. Currently I am working as Assistant Director to Al Smith’s Rare Earth Mettle at the Royal Court Theatre.
