Caley Powell

My name is Caley Powell (she/her) I am originally from South Wales but now live in London. I started as a casting director in 2009 and started producing for webseries and film in 2012 and assistant producing theatre in 2014 and produced my first play as the sole producer in 2016. In 2018 I set up my company Lights Down Productions to produce female led new writing. So far the company has produced three plays, 'Hear Me Howl' by Lydia Rynne, 'The Net' by Zoë Guzy-Sprague and 'Shards' by Catherine O'Shea. These plays were not only written and directed by women but also had an all female creative team.
