Sarah Teale

Director

She/Her
I have been working in Manchester since 2017, developing, directing & amplifying stories/scripts from younger girls as the Co-Artistic Director of No Door Theatre. Since living in London I have been learning with Cardboard Citizens as a regular freelancer, and undertaken an internship at the Arcola Theatre. I have also worked with a range writer/performers, and as an independent director for established theatre companies.

I love working with actors and writers to develop their own scripts, characters and stories. I am really into collaboration and see my role as just facilitating the actors/writers work. I would describe my directing style as being generally fun and playful, I really hope that all the actors and participants that I've worked with would agree, and that this is then translated to the audience who will have a good ol' party.
