Clare Packham

Director Writer

She/Her

I'm a director interested in changing the ways we think about experiencing and make art. I like work that experiments with the lines between mediums, and disregards previous notions of genre. I love messy, intellectual yet irreverent art. I hate boring art.

I am also a writer of new musical theatre. My work has been presented at BEAM, a finalist for BYMT’s New Music Theatre Award, on the longlist for Stiles & Drewe’s Best New Song Award and I’m currently on the shortlist for the Charlie Hartill Award at Pleasance.

I am also a co-founder of non-hierarchical artist collective PINCHY theatre (www.pinchytheatre.com).
