Clodagh Chapman

Director Writer Dramaturg

I'm a writer, director and dramaturg based in Manchester. Currently, I'm developing a number of projects for stage and screen. Recent work includes butterfly (VAULT Festival), dubbed "a brilliant show full of heart" [Guardian], and LADYFRIENDS [a period drama] (Touring; venues include Shakespeare North Playhouse & Hope Mill Theatre, funded by Arts Council England), and co-directing LOB (Contact Theatre & Outburst Arts). My debut short film, First Kiss (With A Girl), has screened at BIFA- and BAFTA-qualifying film festivals. I'm into making work that is fun, funny and a bit heartbreaking - ideally all at the same time.

My pronouns are she/they.
