Michael Cusick

Theatre Director Facilitator Creative Consultant Film Producer Actor

He/Him. I am an actor and theatre creative. My skills in both of those areas have led me to develop a practice as a director, creative associate and dramaturg in theatre and more recently film.

My theatre background includes new writing, devising, and classics in traditional stage, immersive, and site specific settings. I've also worked in theatre for children and families and in immersive learning environments. I'm an experienced workshop leader and a regular facilitator for Punchdrunk, introducing participants to the principles of the company's work.

I am an Old Vic New Voices acting alumni and I trained at RWCMD on the PG Acting in Stage, Screen and Radio.

With degrees in History, Politics and Law, matters of identity, political, and social concern interest me. Theatre that is visionary in form that uses our past, our cultures, and our mythology to make sense of our present is the sort of theatre I'm interested in making.
