Sita Thomas

Director

I'm a director currently building my experience through assisting and associating as well as developing my own work. I'm a recipient of an MGCfutures bursary and Arts Council Wales funding to develop a verbatim musical sharing LGBT+ stories from West Wales. Recently I've been staff director to Lyndsey Turner on Top Girls at the National Theatre and have directed shorts for Tamasha at Rich Mix and at Southwark Playhouse. I have a Masters in Movement Direction from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a PhD from the University of Warwick where my thesis examined issues of cultural diversity in the performance of Shakespeare in the UK.
