Heya, I'm Neta.
I'm a theatre director, performer and multidisciplinary artist interested in creating work which interrogates different ways of telling a story, putting the audience engagement with the work at the centre of the process.
I have a wide range of interests and skills, spanning from devising, through text-based performances all the way to performance art, site-specific installations and movement.
My practice is feminist and usually centers around migration, empathy and autobiographical stories.
Part of Migrants in Theatre and MENA ARTS UK movement, interested in theatre in translation, genuine cultural exchange and increasing representation in the arts.
I have vast experience of working with children and teenagers, managing projects and leading large teams in and outside of the creative industry.
Making art, and especially theatre, is a collaborative process. Even if I'm the director in the room.
Empathy is key.
