Katherine Sturt-Scobie

Director

Katherine (She/ Her) is a freelance Director and Puppet maker. She is the Associate Director for Shasha and Taylor Productions and Actors of Dionysus. Katherine has previously worked in Costume design at Wycombe Abbey School and in an administrative role at Clean Break Theatre Company.​

She holds a BSc in Psychology from Lancaster University and an MA in Directing from Guildford School of Acting where she received the Max Adrian award for her dissertation on rituals in puppetry.

Having grown up in over 4 countries, Katherine is driven by the power of story telling to bring people together. With a passion for Puppetry and visual storytelling, Katherine is most happy in a rehearsal room with a collaborative team, devising and working on exciting stories for both young and old.
