Jens artistic endeavours have taken her coast to coast across Canada, to Mexico, Lebanon and most recently to the UK. She has worked in English, French and Spanish and hopes that this list keeps growing. She has had the privilege to work with companies like Imago Theatre (Montréal), Geordie Theatre (Montréal) and William Head on Stage (Victoria). Her work has been seen at the Victoria and Montréal Fringe Festivals as well as Toronto’s SummerWorks Performance Festival where she received an Honourable Mention in the Canadian Stage Award for Direction. Jen was the Head Administrator of Montréal’s tiny artist collective performance studio, The Freestanding Room, where she founded, curated and produced the ShortStanding Festival of Short Performances. Jen is currently Artistic Associate for Directors Lab North (Toronto) and the Past President of the Board of Directors for MTL Clowns, the organization that produces Le Festival des Clowns de Montréal annually. She has taught workshops on producing and drama classes to primary school children. Jen works at the reception desk at Theatre Delicatessen, Broadgate and was previously the Assistant Manager at their Café/Bar.

Grounded in feminism, visual storytelling and new play development, her work tends towards intimate performances and non-traditional spaces. Different styles, forms and mediums merge and mix, often in immersive installation design. Whenever possible she uses recycled materials and makes eco-conscious decisions regarding the design and execution of her productions.
