Amber is a Director and Arts Facilitator from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. She came to the North West to train at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and has worked extensively for 7 years in the region since. Gaining great relationships Directing in/for organisations such as The Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, 20 Stories High, All things considered, Storyhouse, Hope Mill Theatre, Tmesis, Liverpool Royal Court, Unity Theatre, and most recently The Duke’s Lancaster.

She is excited by making collaborative, vibrant and accessible theatre crafted through a human-centred process. Being the campaigns officer for Equity Merseyside & Cheshire she uses her voice to empower creatives, especially her Working Class and Neurodiverse peers, to find strength, know their rights and have ownership of their work. She shouts loud for the importance of arts access and works extensively with young people and vulnerable communities in the North West to enable this.
