Getting your Work on at a Festival

Tuesday 4 August

10.30 – 12.30

This session led by producer Robyn Keynes aims to better equip directors and theatre makers with tools for getting your own work on, from getting a team together, to approaching venues and festivals. This will be broken into:

  • Overview of making your own work for a festival
  • Skills needed when making and producing your work in a festival setting such as budgeting and funding
  • Approaching venues and festivals and how to talk about your work

Robyn will talk about festivals such as Vault Festival in London, the Edinburgh Fringe, HighTide Festival in Suffolk and others and look at how you might have to adapt work and approach in a festival setting.

If you are interested in attending, please click the sign-up button above and fill in your details. If you have any access requirements please let us know. Closed captioning is available for all our Zoom workshops and details on how to use this will be provided on the day.
